CAN SOMEBODY SUGGEST decent insurance to cover medical accident and theft whilst in thailand?

pop into your local Post Office... I went last Friday and got cover for £60.00. I have an excluded condition (varicose veins) but am covered if my kidneys go beserk (am awaiting dialysis to start) despite having declared it. Very easy to set up, over the counter in the Post Office.

Not sure what theft cover I have (docs are in the office at the mo) but I have £2K on my house contents anyway..... and they just replaced my laptop, digital camera and Rolex watch following a burglary 2 weeks ago... Payment Shield is my house contents providor and I am really pleased with their service.
