great to see the firefly out again

due to wet and cool left windows open last night

and was bewilleded to see all the bright fireflys around in the room

i first saw them in the 60ths in vietnam and ng

i am still wondering how a small insect can put a bright light out from its bum

Saw my first one ever in Samui last year. Is there a Firefly "season"?

Incredible sight, saw it at my wifes sisters house in Sam Ngao, near Tak. Thought it was a fire alarm flashing away at first.
