Is This a PR card?

Can anyone confirm what kind is this? I was told it is 10 years card.

PR = permament residency?

No!

What it is? Kind of card for a stateless person (that is what the Thai text translates to, "person with no status").

I am not sure, but maybe a card for one of the poor "hilltribe" people who are treated as stateless by the Thai authorities?

Maybe someone can confirm.

The starting digit "0" for the citizen ID is a clear indicator (0-5785 ...).

I have never seen this ominous card for PR holders (is it this "pink card")?

If so, it would show a citizen ID starting with digit 8.

Just found this thread about the pink PR card:

See post #12 for an example.

Thank Benq for those info

I have a pink ID card and my 13-digit number does begin with an 8.

Yes, it's an ID card for "unregistered individuals", i.e people who are not otherwise in the Thai system.

What rights it confers and how they differ from a standard "bat prachachon" (Thai citizen's ID card), I can't say.

In any event, it's valid ten years.
