July 31, 201510 yr I am considering purchasing a shell condominium and am curious about the current prices on flooring, including installation. Is anybody here familiar with the costs per Square Meter, installed: Teak (good quality) Terra Cotta Stone Ceramic Thanks, Jim
July 31, 201510 yr You will have better answers if you give the location of the condo. Which type of stone floor?
July 31, 201510 yr Our floors are Mai Daeng (Burmese Ironwood), harder than teak, worth considering. Unfortunately I can't give a price "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
August 1, 201510 yr Sorry can't give you comparison pricing But if I were you I would 1:measure the area you want done.... add 10% to that for waste 2:Go to a tile shop/lumber yard (may have other wood materials suitable for flooring) and find something you like in each of the materials you are considering and price your materials 3. Cost to install may be about the same for either item (possible one is cheaper to install....wood vs tiles...don't know) and get bids from contractors Hopefully someone here on TV can be more specific ....I only mention the above as anyone who posts prices that they paid ...is just that ....price they paid (Also... where you are may affect cost of materials and contractors price)! ..your costs may be less or greater depending on the variables picked by you (material picked and price from contractor to install) Edited August 1, 201510 yr by beachproperty
