IPTV server 2500 channels / 1000 THB

I installed Kodi & watched a Youtube video on how to configure it. (4 pages of notes.) Chicog advised TVMC which I will look at. I am looking for a way of downloading movies/TV so I can USB them to my TV. At the moment I use Vuze/Torrent Z. Are the packages being discussed above better than my present system. Do they enable movies to be saved to watch at my leisure?

For all those who are watching free and basically calling ppl like me paying for iptv stupid, do you have hd 1280x720 or better, sky uk, it, ger. Spain Holland Arabic Turkish eastern Europe Russia USA India etc, full packages? I don't think so.

Sent from my S4 LTE

Yes they do.

3500 channels

Been there, done it, got the T-shirt...

Boike is quite correct.

Firstly, only a fraction of the 3,500 channels work

Secondly, for people who want to watch movies, this might be OK.. But for those of us who want to watch live TV without constant buffering it is useless

I now pay 550 baht/month for all the reliable no buffering live TV that I want...

if we talk about kodi i got thousands movies and channels free

i even made post with instructions here http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/845875-kodi-hostile-community-build-lots-of-live-tv-movies/

So what is the point of your op if you have already posted how to do it free? Is there much difference of your free vs 1000THB /month besides price?

No buffering

Free often unwachable

OK, thanks - you've made some useful posts to some I expect and I'm not trying to have a dig but in your op you say:

>Its got thousends live tv channels + thousends movies and tv shows, all free.

and now you say "often unwachable"? So why bother with the op comes to mind next?

is one of the reasons when I download the new version of Kodi I put loads of them on a USB stick, easy to delete......

have the newest version Kodi 15 on the Android box, 14.2 on my PC and a much older version on the laptop.

There are things you can do in Kodi to decrease buffering.

My main gripe on Kodi. Could you elaborate or is it too technical?

Well it is and it isn't. Essentially it's about putting some settings into a file called advanced.xml.

Here's a description:

http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_the_video_cache

But the good news is that you can use the Xunity Maintenance Tool to install a custom XML that's already configured.

If you haven't got SuperRepo installed, use this procedure: https://superrepo.org/get-started/

Then Get Addons and install Xunity Maintenance (Check if it's installed already).

When you open that, there are tweaks you can use depending on your device - essentially you click a button and it writes the advanced.xml for you.

Thanks. I do have Xunity Maintenance but when i open it i only see basic options on thumbnails etc. Where are the buffering options you mention?

Thats what I use sometimes. Its 1000 month with 2500 channels. And VOD.

You're a reseller. right?

Hmm! It's about $80 a year for Stalker's middleware service and a host of others, and even cheaper elsewhere, but I won't post the link.

The Mac address did work but is down now. I actually saved alot of channels to my favourite list from IPTV stalker and they still work. Guess i just cut out the middle man.

Try share fav file so we can swap it

Sorry im a newbie to Kodi. Have no idea what your talking about

If people don't pay they'll stop doing it won't they.

Apparently $80 was for a trial period, just checked the web, honeymoon period over now $105, still reasonable methinks providing its live for 12 months.
