I am wondering if any company offers fire and theft insurance on vehicles parked up and jacked up for 9 months of the year that can be converted to full first class and A2 insurance for the 3 month of the year when I am in Thailand and driving the cars.

At the moment I pay full yearly insurance full coverage an the car and pick up are not used. First class for one second class for the other due to age of the pick up. They are garaged hence only wanting only fire and theft for that period.

I used to do this in the UK and Europe.

Is this available in Thailand? Obviously Tax and compulsory stickers would be purchased as normal.as these are mandatory.

Sorry not available but you can start a 2^nd Class when you leave and cancel when you arrive back – then start a 1^st Class and cancel that when you leave and so on.

However not really worth the trouble plus you would lose out on your NCB.
