Is this the best they can do? Are they really trying to catch anyone higher up the food chain? Do they think these types of arrest will slow down the scourge of yah ice which is a big threat to the well being of our children & society in general. I think we will be forever waiting for groundbreaking news that a top drug boss has been arrested & not allowed bail.

I totally agree with the previous comments. The police should be arresting the big dealers - and not the small time petty dealers. It is sad that those higher up are protected from prosecution while those who are addicted or small time dealers are routinely arrested. If they are continuing the criminizaion of drugs, then they need to arrest the major suppliers -be they policeman or wealthy patrons - unless they do so, the crimes against drugs are a farce.

Pathetic bib!

The pathetic BIB are doing what police forces do worldwide - taking down the small fry.

Do you really think they should let the street dealers continue in business while they wait for the big fish?

Hasn't happened in too many other places with much success.

I don't think many users, who may need to rob and steal to support their habit go knocking on the door of the big boys for their hit.

IMHO the way to go is to legalise all drugs - take the criminal element and the big bucks out of the equation and then work on taking people off dependency.

That will never happen I suspect.
