Take a look here>>> http://www.paddleasia.com/jungle-survival-programs.htm

At the bottom of the page there is a "our rates" button. Not sure 8k will do it.

There was a free course including airfare in Panama, but it has since been moved to Hawaii. Still free though, you just have to join the USMC, Army, or USN.

i want to train for some time there

i was going to join the military, but i won't shave my hair, my hair is more important, they don't let me go barefoot either but i would like to join them

It's the Monkeys you need to watch out for.

They are very aggressive when they are hunting for food

This guy thinks that all he has to do is sit around and food will drop into his lap. Judging by previous posts he is looking for a space where he doesn't have to work. Now it is no longer the streets of Bangkok being a long haired monk, it's the jungle that has caught his attention. He is afraid of spiders. Either a non-entertaining troll or a complete loser, he won't last a week in the jungle, concrete or otherwise.

been there done that , If the insects dont get you, the Jungle fever will.

Uhh....and just what passport will you be traveling on? Think you will have a little problem in that area.

If you are afraid of a little spider, then how do you feel about "Army Ants"? Or hundreds of tiny mosquitoes trying to bite you all at once? Even if you "graduate" from a jungle survival school, how do you plan on just walking into a jungle and dealing with Gars, Elephants, snakes, aggressive monkeys, and an occasional Tiger? Big order for a novice. Good luck with that. Oh... and don't forget the other thousands of small creepy crawlers waiting to bite you for a meal.

I'm waiting for a mod to say he is posting from a satellite linked to a canoe sailing down the Amazon.

The whole thing reminds me of Apocalypse Now.
