can someone please give me directions from suv airport to avis offices, where we have to return the car. They did give a small map but it isn't very clear. So, we leave arrivals and...?

I would not recommend avis. Compared to other rental companies, their cars are old and you have to drive off site to collect and drop off.

I am surprised that they don't do terminal drop-off. I used them once a few years ago and dropped off at the Arrivals door 8, right beside their kiosk where I collected the car. I agree with the OP's old car complaint as the Fortuner they gave me was high mileage.

Next time use Budget who will meet you kerbside at Departures (with 10 minutes notice by mobile phone) and sign off the car there and then.

Bit worried about taking it back. A 6 inch piece of fairing fell off which is sort off on the underside of the rear door body. Probably fell off due to being a right old banger. lucky i spotted it. Just wondering the cost to me

You are right. AVIS cars are old. I stopped using them and now use the cheaper Sixt cars. But they are both the same place near the large taxi station and large parking lot.

The signs for going to return cars are very poor.
