New non b visa application , please help me

Now I am in my home country, I received company documents from my company to apply for non b visa,(all documents in thai), one page showing asset 1,000,000 baht; can get visa with this asset?

Yes, showing tax records and social security payments is the way to prove you have employees.

Regarding Work permits, what you would be interested in is the company's Registered Capital, this may be quite different from a company's stated assets standing at 1 million THB..

There should be a multi page document from the Thai Commerce Department (DBD), the first page of which states the company's actual current registered capital.

say you have a foreigner in Thailand who forms his own Thai company, gets the work permit and non-B Visa (essentially because he sees it is the only way he can stay in Thailand because he is under 50 years old). But in reality he isn't really serious about developing or running a legitimate business.

After he gets his documents entitling him to stay in Thailand he doesn't put a lot of energy into the business and essentially he doesn't make any money? He pays his salaried employees and takes care of himself from money overseas.

how long will the Thai authorities give him regarding visa extensions when they eventually see his company is not generating any meaningful revenue? I was sure someone told me once the company has to show a minimum revenue if not a profit to be able to get your non-b Visa renewed?

Of course he can argue that he hasn't made any money because of poor business conditions.

What people do is to not involve immigration, they go to Penang and get a 1 year multiple entry non B.

Of course you have to make a border bounce every 90 days, but keeps you floating for 15 months.

You could get by 2 maybe 3 years. When we opened our company we did not generate any profits for 4 years. We were audited many times. Our first 4 years was having equipment manufactured for our process, working on process and developing products and markets for our products. We had supporting documents with a few govt ministries that were helping us develop products so with documentation from them and 2-3 day meetings with our accountant we were ok. However like I said they did investigate our company and preformed audits maybe 2 or 3 times in the first 4-5 years of operations.

I'm sure what poorsucker says is correct, but I have no knowledge only advising what happened to us.
