Recently I read 1 or 2 glowing reports on Immigration and I must assume they were posted by an Immigration employee or the posters were just plain lucky ! I went to Jomtien/pattaya Immigration

today and needed to Present new Passport- get 90 day stamp and new visa, ( 11 times now). I got passport chaged but have to pickup tomorrow and then wait a week to get 90 day stamp and another 2 weeks to apply new retirement . Including all I must make 4 trips ! Thai Immigration simply doesn't give a damn about seniors, I am 81, with poor mobility, travwling 10 kilometers each way, the cost and prep time and procedures involved. My fondest wish is that someone, somewhere, treats THEIR grandfather similarly !

    Indeed, could a mod clean up?

    I agree with you, Fred Kubasa. Immigration here is a disgrace and I too hope that Immigration in my homecountry let thais taste their own medicin ...

    My thaiwife is so tired of Imm. that she suggest we move away - I´m considering it since its only getting worse here ...crazy.gifcrazy.gifcrazy.gif

    Your lucky your not living in Chiang Mai.

    The OP does not seem to ask for any advice or help and even if he did it would seem difficult to assist him because his rant about having to get "90 day stamp", to get "new visa (11 times now)" and to get "passport changed" at the Pattaya immigration is incomprehensible.

    Well, he has had his rant and if it has made him feel better, this topic has served a good purpose and is now closed.

    The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
