Where to buy chicken wire in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anybody know where to buy a few meters of chicken wire?

I live on the ground street floor and have 2 metal security doors.

I just got a kitten, but he can go through the holes of the security doors and walk out on the street.

I think some chicken wire would do the job, so wind/airflow can still come in, but the kitten can not go out.

I only need 2 strips for the doors 80cm wide by 2+meter high.

Preferably a shop around Thepprasit area.

See image, but any kind will do

There's a couple small Thai hardware shops on Threpprasit that do.

And many hardware shops sell a plastic equivalent.

I'd go with the plastic ones. Won't rust. I've used it for several different projects and works out great. Most places will have it, even the big box shops like HomePro/Works/Mart.

I am indeed considering also the plastic ones, but will they be strong enough, since cats love to climb.

The type I used will easily support a cat. It's quite heavy.

WOW, slow day at TV if this (=mine) thread makes the newsletter.

Which is good, no complaining farangs about girlfriends and such. Everybody was happy yesterday/todaycheesy.gif

Loads of shops on Threppasit. But go to the end, turn left onto Sukhumvit, head towards Tai and turn into Homeworks.

If you get what you want written in Thai that can always help.
