My current non o (marriage) is due in January. Will it be best to apply for another non o or for an extension? Going by some comments on this site an extension appears to be frought with problems. My imm office will be CM.

All depends on if you want to do border runs or report to Immigration every 90 days.

If you qualify I would do the extension.
