nowretired
YES ! I suggested this yesterday ! 1. You need a completed application form and passport photos. 2. You need copies of your passport data page and relevant visas. 3. You need evidence of having 800,000 Bht in a Thai bank. 4. You need sufficient cash in Malaysian ringgit to pay the fee for the visa ................ Edited August 29, 2015 by nowretired

Sophon
What kind of visa are you asking about?: In the headline you mention a "O-a" visa. In the text of your post you mention a "non immi o" visa. The answers so far has been for a Non Immigrant O visa. You won't be able to get a Non immigrant O-A visa in Penang unless you are a Malaysian citizen or resident (which it doesn't sound like you are). Maestro
The important question is: what documents did phuketrichard submit?
KarenBravo
Jim says yes, but, you still have to go to the consulate yourself for a Non-Imm O visa. I know because I got one and used Jim. He just takes you there and back.
phuketrichard
The important question is: what documents did phuketrichard submit? i have not had a visa for Thailand since 2002 but was down there in July and asked some people who were getting visas and also spoke with the agent at Banana about visas. jbaldwin
I was charged 620 MYR - that is 70 above the visa fee. The only required documents were my passport - to confirm I was over 50 - and bank book. I did not go to the consulate

Maestro
The visa fee in local currency was recently increased in Malaysia, ie the exchange rate for the calculation was adjusted. There is a separate topic about it.
