Trying to fully understand what this sticker says. All i can really translate is open close day minute and the rest is an educated guess.

Context: It's a water filtration tank to take out the lime. This is the first time i've had to do this. My basic understanding is that you have to clean out a filter and add some salt every 2-3 weeks.

What I think it says:

Step 1:

Close valves 1,4,5 Open valves 2,3 Flush water for 20 minutes

Step 2:

Open valves 1,5 Close valves 2,3,4 (Then do what??? Not sure here)

Step 3:

Open valves 1,4 close valves 2,3,5 (The do what?? Not sure here)

Step 4:

Check every 10-15 days??? (not sure)

They're not steps, but different functions. What you call step 1 is cleaning, 2 is testing, 3 is using the filter and 4 is a comment saying to clean every 10 to 15 days.

So open valve 1 and 4, close 2,3,5 for normal operation (use).

Does it say anything in there about adding salt?

Nothing at all about adding salt.

No problem. And also for cleaning, it says to let the water run for about 20 minutes until it's clear.
