Lite Beer Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 More arrest warrants will be issued for the rosewood robbing suspects in ChanthaburiCHANTHABURI, 05 September 2015 (NNT) – An arrest warrant will be soon issued for the second suspect in the recent robbing case of rosewood logs at a forest reserve station in Chanthaburi.The suspect along with his accomplices injured forestry officials and stole the logs, which had been kept for use as evidence, at the national forest reserve station no. 13 in the province on September 1st.Earlier an arrest warrant has already been issued to one of the accomplices, a truck driver named Parin Thankana.The second suspect, named Siam Bumrungwat who impersonated a military official, pretended to visit the station to take photographs of the rare wood. Officials were able to identify his true identity after checking the license plate of his vehicle used on the day.Other arrest warrants will soon be issued, said the police while speculating that more than 5 suspects took part in the crime. Thais must start demonstrating that they can nail an have the will to nail Thai Mr. Bigs and Thai Mr. Big bankers controlling these illicit an corrupt businesses. catinthehat Posted September 6, 2015 Share Posted September 6, 2015 I personally know the amount of money made on rosewood (and other exotic woods) and the profits are obscene. And yes until the officials show they have the cajones to convict the financiers, everything else is a waste of time and resources. Go after the "haves" and not only the 'have nots".
