Is PLA NUEA ON (ปลาเนื้ออ่อน) the name for sheatfish (a type of catfish) in general?

Since ปลาเนื้ออ่อน (pla nuea on) in the Thai language means "soft/tender fleshed fish", I believe it is a general/generic term for several varieties of sheatfish.

Just one thing I noticed. I think Ompok bimaculatus is PLA CHA ON (ปลาชะโอน).

Yes, another example of a fish with more than one Thai name.
