Sihanoukville: Air Link to LOS ?

Must admit, I am not up to date on this. In the meantime, is there any direct air-link from Sihanoukville to BKK or Pattaya (U-Tapao.) ?

I realize, that hardly could there be an Airbus service in place, but at least a 6 seater Cessna or Piper service, doing daily flights ?

None at all. Flights from SHV only to Siem Reap and Phnom Penh.

I could live with Sihanoukville - PP - BKK. What Airline is serving Sihanoukville - PP ? I would like to poke around in the internet to find out about flight schedules, ticket prices, etc.

Giant Ibis luxury bus from riverside pp to dik is not a bad ride and easier then doing the airport thing. Drops off right downtown.

From PP to SHV it goes first via Siem Reap (opposite direction) so not really worth doing from PP (takes longer than by road) , but if coming from SR it makes sense.

Lastly there is this one http://www.bayonairlines.com/ that appears to have both direct flights and flights that are via SR. However the type of plane they use has been banned in many countries for safety issues.

Should warn that none of these three are all that reliable in terms of their schedules.

Personally I would only consider this if coming directly to/from Siem Reap.
