ozyjon
My elderly mum doesn't understand it, and neither do i for that matter, my mum asked me to fetch something she stored in the garage years ago, i think it was a dress, when i finally got to it, the plastic bag just disintegrating in my hands, why can't all plastic be bio-degradable and just let them rot away like everything else If the convenience of plastic bags are taken away it should be replaced with something else. fforest1
All you plastic bag hatters move to California where you will feel right at home. One of the great things about Thailand is they have not had this PC anti bag nonsense until now. Providing your customer with a bag is a civilized convenience.. I just spent 2 months in that plastic bag hater's nirvana called California. Plenty of plastic bags (made from recycled, degradable materials) at the supermarkets and shops. I saw some markets had public receptacles for people to deposit their excess bags for recycling/reuse. It was all very civilised, and I experienced no inconvenience whatsoever.......
