YangYaiEric
Hi All. I have a retiement visa, but I need to go back to the UK for personal reasons for about 2 months. Is there a limit to the amount of time I am allowed to stay out of the Kingdom without invalidating my retirement visa? Hope someone can help me here. Cheers. Crossy
Do you have a visa obtained from a consulate outside Thailand or a retirement extension obtained from immigration within Thailand?
oncearugge
If you have a "Visa" it will remain valid for use until the "enter before date" . You can spend as much time as you wish outside Thailand Are you sure you have a "visa" ?

PoorSucker
You will need a re-entry permit from immigration else your extension will be void. You can stay outside as long as you return before your extension ends. If you stay longer you will need a new visa from the UK.

I have a retirement visa extension. You have an "extension of stay, based on retirement" You will need to buy a re-entry permit from immigration (1000 Bht) to protect your extension. Qman
I was out of the country for 7 months and re-entered on my re-entry permit. Note the return date should be ahead of the retirement extension end date.
