troysantos
Just realized that there are pawpaws that are native to the Eastern part of the US. These are not what Australians call pawpaws (papayas to other people). Seems like they should be able to grow in some parts of Thailand. Wonder if anyone's got any growing? A search on ThaiVisa and on internet in general came up with nothing.
NeverSure
Don't those require a fairly long winter chill?
CLW
The Royal Project seems to grow them. I once saw them in their store. I bought them instantly because IMO they taste much better than Thai varieties used unripe for som tam and ripe as fruits. I kept the seeds but didn't have the opportunity yet to grow them. DogNo1
I used to eat paw paws back in Pennsylvania. I thought that they tasted more like persimmons. They look a lot like one variety of persimmons here in Japan.
