Extend of single entry Non Immigrant B visa

Featured Replies

Hello All

I am indian and i have non immigrant B visa, which is single entry. Its going to be expired soon . I got the visa with the help of my Employers and they submitted my papers for work permit and i have not go the work permit till now. I need to extend my visa. Is it possible to do in immigration office in Chaeng watthana or is there any other way of doing it.Thank you .

There is no extension you can get without a work permit and documents from the company.

You could apply for a 7 day extension. pay 1900 baht and be given 7 days to leave the country. But you would not be able to apply for any extension at the end of that 7 days.

I can get the documents from the company but i cant provide the work permit as its under process. So if it expired, can i apply again for non immigrant visa?

If the work permit has been applied for and your employer can get a work permit application approval letter from the Labor Ministry immigration might accept the application and do an under consideration stamp that would allow you to stay until the application is approved. Your employer should check with immigration about it.

You can go back to India to apply for another non-b visa without a problem if you don't get the extension.
