Got deported last year and didn't pay the bills

Recommended Posts

Assuming that the OP wants to settle the bills....if he is not resourceful enough to figure out how to get them paid without going to 7/11, or indeed without entering the country, then I would submit that this individual probably should not be out in the world unsupervised

How about you stop wasting your time making useless posts and insulting people and suggest how the OP can pay his bills, not having set up a pre-pay or online pay facility. I'd also be very interested in knowing how to do it. My CAT manager couldn't offer me any suggestions when I tried to find a method late last year... (and I'm quite ok being unsupervised here in Thailand.smile.png)

Let's see...do a bit of research, get a phone number for the creditor, and call them. Work through whoever answers the phone, sooner or later you will get to someone who can help you.

People need to think outside the box a bit.

You may be quite alright being unsupervised...but you are not the individual under discussion.

Because i pay them at 7/11, you need to have the bill to pay it, they refuse any other way. I already tried. I remember when i was not receiving the bills they refused to take my payment until i could present the bill to them. I had to go there in person to ask for a reissue of the bill and it took them 2 month to do it.

I don't care about a few thousands baht, but it's not easy to pay bills without the bills.

I got deported, the officer told me i'm being deported and i was in a cell. In my stop to Dubai in my way back i was also in a cell and escorted by officers who gave me back my passport only in my country.

They insisted telling me i was working in Thailand i said no till the end because i wasn't working in Thailand.

Forget explaining yourself to this lot, they don't get it-they probably send the missus to do their bill paying whilst on bar stools..my building has a private ISP and can only pay bills at the condo office in cash for the know all's out there. You asked a question :Can you get back in" that's all you need to know and want-lay off guys and answer the question.

Stopped readimg after the 1st 11 posts. The guy is looking for answers and here again there are so many of you pointing fingers.

Even if you have everything in order you only get in if the IO iwants to. Don't think these things cannot happen to anyone of you finger pointers.

Sent from my S4 LTE

Have a good look at your hand when you point at someone. Notice that three fingers are pointing right back at you.

I always thought people could strike up a request for help and people on TV would give out their many pearls of wisdom. I was wrong,as most of you lot seem to be busy bodies and or bar encyclopedias.

Thanks UbonJoe for your wise words and helpfulness. I respect your advise.

You will have noticed that the OP failed to acknowledge or respond to UJ's sound and objective advice.

And how do you know that?? ever heard of PM'ing get facts before you slag..

Good luck doing that with a Thai Internet company from overseas. You'd spend more on your phone calls than the bill IF you could find someone to understand English and process it. I'd put money down that you would not have any chance of settling a bill with any Internet companies here trying your method no matter how "outside the box" you thunk.smile.png.

In my case, if my account manager cannot help me, that's it, I give up. I don't pay it. If you don't pay it, they cut if off and that's the last you'll hear from them. There's a reason why CAT asks foreigners of new services to pay 6 months in advance. They don't chase them up after that if they don't pay a bill and it is cut off a month later. I'd also put money down that the Internet companies here have to deal with thousands of foreigners heading off without paying the last bill. That's another reason why they charge high set up fees.

Regarding the unsupervised comment. Your comment was directed at anyone who didn't have the ability to pay the bills while out of country. That's me!smile.png

There is always a way, if a person is willing to invest enough time and resources.

I think we are on the same page here...had I been in the position of not being allowed entry ( I doubt he was "deported" ) I would not give a second' thought about those outstanding bills.

Perhaps at a later date, if I was allowed entry again, I might chase it and try to clear the debts.

The O.P.'s insistence that he "pays at 7/11 and they have to have the bill" is a bit disingenuous...almost as if he is looking for validation not to pay the bills.
