thai kindle books

Featured Replies

i'm sure this is a longshot, but i wonder if there is a simple kindle book, where i could read in thai, and when i don't know a word, i push and hold, and a translation pops up, as they do in english? extra points would be from thai script to english definition

or anything like this ?

Kindle does not have that feature.

The following site may be useful. The reading lessons are not books but are passages of varying length and difficulty level on a wide range of topics. You can read the Thai and hover over any word to get a quick dictionary lookup. You can also choose to see or hide a phonetic equivalent (I sometimes find that useful for words where the spelling does not resemble the pronunciation). There is also an English translation of each sentence.
