Switching to Gasahol on an old bike

Due to the lack of availability of petrol in some places, I am thinking of switching to Gasahol, I did so for a while (trusting to luck when out and about) and had a few problems with hoses and the petcock seals and diaphragms.

Anyway I bought a new manual petcock, renewed the carb diaphragms and have now replaced all the fuel hoses.

Have I missed anything on the fuel side and/or are are there any other issues to deal with?

Last time I was up in the Loei hills I couldn't find benzin anywhere.

I have an old carbed scooter that is only supposed to have benzine 91. I have been putting gasohol 91 in it for about 6 years now without issue and I changed nothing.

My bike is 32 years old so it could have been built before ethanol was considered as a fuel additive, or the rubbers could just have been on their way out.

Or maybe your scooter had newer hoses fitted.

......Just remembered the linking hose between carbs is original, so need to get that done... Then I have options.

When I leave the bike over the summer I will fill up with benzine which is better for the carbs..I understand.
