BANGKOK: - A so-called shaman was arrested yesterday shortly after the Udon Thani Provincial Court approved arrest warrants for two shamans who allegedly stole a skull from a graveyard for amulet-making.

"Their crime has emotionally devastated the victim's family," Udon Thani Police Station superintendent Pol Colonel Wit Muttasin said.

Suspect Narong Phumphuchit was arrested, while Arthit Kongkarian, 35, is still at large. Both are Udon Thani province natives. Their accused accomplice, Bang-orn Srinanam, was arrested on September 15.

She has provided useful information to police and is being treated as a state witness. "They had planned to sell the amulets to foreigners," Wit said.

Weird.

Why 'shaman' to describe him.

Grave robbing is not their thing.

A 'tall midget' is how I'd describe the weirdo.

"They had planned to sell the amulets to foreigners," Wit said.

Yeah, right.

It takes a really twisted mind to do something like this. These people should be confined to a mental institution.

Is it just me or does that guy not resemble Frankenstein?

Now are frangs flocking to buy amulets? Or is this so called shaw men out of his flocking mind?

Is it just me or does that guy not resemble Frankenstein?

Hey please do not get too serious, in his last life he was an amulet. cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

This article has been translated badly. The man arrested is actually Burmese or maybe Laotian. Everyone knows that Thais are in capable of devious crimes.

Gee at least he's sincere in his craft??? wink.png He could have faked the bones as being human skull and those stupid foreigners would have never known.

BTW I seriously doubt the foreigners he was intending to sell them to were farang -- probably Chinese and other Asians.

"They had planned to sell the amulets to foreigners," Wit said.

Yeah, right.

Yeah, of course Thais don't use those kind of things. So only farangs pushed them to stealing skulls from grave yards.

Yep I am sure it was only intended for foreigners - at any given night market you have to beat your way through the horde of foreigners eagerly wanting to buy various amulets - a piece of fresh human skull is often the most sought after. Thais do not usually wear amulets or believe in protective tattoos.

He should start by making an amulet for himself to protect him from being a moron.

A lot of little people (s you say midgets) are kind, hard working and honest. This guy possesses none of those qualities. He is only a dwarf in heart and spirit.
