BANGKOK — The military government’s plan to route all internet traffic in and out of the kingdom through a single gateway won’t happen anytime soon, a top official said today.

DSI handled 108 special cases worth Bt60 billion as of August 31

NCPO assures public that authorities go on working to ensure security

BANGKOK, 28 September 2015 (NNT)-The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has confirmed that the authorities responsible for public safety are working constantly to ensure security, in a bid to boost confidence among locals and tourists.


NCPO spokesman Colonel Winthai Suvaree disclosed that the relevant authorities continue to work together to ensure security in all areas. He added that authorities are giving information to organizations, departments and various communities on how to be alert to any abnormalities.

He said that the general public is able to help as well, by keeping an eye out for anything unusual and by reporting it to authorities immediately in an effort to strengthen security and increase safety in their area.

Health Ministry launches campaign to reduce sugar consumption among Thais

BANGKOK: -- The Ministry of Public Health has sought cooperation from sugar producers to reduce the size of sugar packs from six grammes to four grammes per pack in a bid to reduce sugar consumption among Thais, said Public Health Minister Dr Piyasakol Sakolsattayathorn on Tuesday.
