Taxi driver is accused of an English tourist's rape in Kratie

Featured Replies

Police in Kratie province on Sunday arrested a taxi driver accused of trying to rape an English tourist.

The suspect, Nem Bunthan, 25, was driving the 24-year-old victim from Siem Reap to Kratie, according to Duong Sothy, chief of police in Kratie’s Chhlong district.

Bunthan waited for all other passengers to leave the taxi before allegedly seizing the victim’s hand and dragging her to a nearby bamboo patch. There, he allegedly tried to kiss her, undress her and push her to the ground.

According to the victim’s statement to the police, she tricked her assailant by promising to give him tens of thousands of dollars from her bank account. Bunthan agreed to drive her to an ATM in Chhlong district, where she approached authorities, who apprehended the suspect.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Then he denied and told the police that she did not pay the fee. However police found semen on his pants. Must be pissed!

Well done, brave and smart girl in deed.

Does't take much to trick an idiot who does not have an IQ, Luckily her IQ was pretty good and saved her from a dreadful act.
