September 30, 201510 yr I'm currently filling out an online visa application for a standard visa and in the lincome and expenditure" section, do they want the figures in Thai baht or UK pounds? thanks.
September 30, 201510 yr Are you the applicant? If the income and expenditure is in GBP put that, if in THB put that. theoldgit
September 30, 201510 yr Author Are you the applicant? If the income and expenditure is in GBP put that, if in THB put that. Thanks for the reply. I'm filling it out for a Thai. It's a bit confusing because a couple of the questions specifically ask for the answer in pounds. So for those I will estimate the pound figure and for the rest, I will use baht figures...correct?
September 30, 201510 yr They will, I think, be looking for expenditure in GBP, as that's where most of the costs will be incurred. If the income is earned in Baht then I would put Baht, likewise with any local banks which will of course be in Baht. When an application has been refused I've seen refusal notices along the line of "you have shown a balance of 1000 Baht which equates to £20", so I think I would stick to the actual currency involved. theoldgit
September 30, 201510 yr Indeed, on my sister in law's application earlier this year we put her income etc. in baht and her expenses in the UK in pounds. She got the visa.
