Just coming up to my renewal of extension and preparing my docs.

In the thai language marriage docs my wife laminated various official documents and for the last 4 or 5 years I have just photocopied those. This is our certificate of marriage, her paper for formal name change (she changed name again after marriage on monks instructions) and the amphur confirmation its in the thai system.

Have I just been lucky that the same certificate has been accepted every year ?? Or is it normal / usual etc that the amphur certificate is ongoing ??

I would rather send her off to go get a new one in the fast fairly efficient amphur and be properly prepared without mistakes than get sent away from the usually over worked immigration office, if a new one is the norm.

Many immigration offices want an up to date Kor Ror 2 every year.

Your wife can get one at any Amphoe for a fee of 20 baht.

It is so easy to get one it is best to get a new one.

Seems I had just been lucky many years in a row.. So much so I didnt even know an annual refreshed one was a requirement..

Will dispatch her indoors tomorrow..

Thanks all..
