Nite Owl

Just wondering what others think about Trink's web page. Does he still have it

or is he losing it. I think $12.00 is a fair bit of gnash to read it, especially when

you consider that Stickman is free. Any comment would be superfluous.

Superfluous indeed ...but I can't pay to read that drivel. Sticks freeby rants less and is a good read. Much less pontification in my view.

I was kind of fond of Trink; kind of like instant nostalgia.

His business model is flawed.

He should have gone with adverts for demimondes and tomes about how the HIV virus doesn't exist. Not to mention Tinned Dinty Moore Beef Stew.

Thaiquila,

I could not express my feelings about Trink any better, I too regard him with fondness and instant nostalgia.

There's a lot of people that knock him but just take a read of the biography "I Don't Give Hoot", he has become to personify a particular era of Bangkok's history.

His story is remarkable.

I have to agree with Guesthouse. It's just a shame the way his colum has degenerated into what it is today. That book that was written about him, by

Jennifer Bliss is quite good. It's just too bad that Bernard Trink didn't write

it. Maybe he'll come around and do it one of these days; he might have to

if he can't make ends meet with his current Nite Owl. A top selling book in

Thailand could't hurt, could it Trink?
