Remember years ago, a friend who was a solicitor pointed out that fining Prostitutes, Buskers, etc. was just counter productive as they had only one way to make the money to pay the fine. Just demonstrating the unwillingness or incompetence to take real measures. I dont' condem the sex business in Pattaya as such, but these loitering kathoeys are a pest. The "fines" are a complete joke. Guess they haven't been lifted since the 1950s? (when 100 Baht was "some money"). They should just leave them all alone. what's the difference bar or beach road. this City was built on this trade and continues to grow on it. fine by me If they are hassling people that's different, nick the ones doing that ( LBs I would say ) and give the appropriate fine. Take a photo of each...tell them if they are caught again they will do time in an undesirable prison in Southern Thailand and then released there to face the local hostile population...
