Featured Replies

went to Bang Chak Dept. of Land Transportation today to see about getting my drivers license.

was told must have an appointment, first one available was 25-11-2015.

i asked them about my medical cert. as it was written on the 8th of Oct. ank is only good for 30days. they tell me i will have to get a new medical cert. what a crock of bull s--t.

no wheres on the internet or there web site does it state you need to make an appointment for m/c license test.(written)

consider this a warning to any one else going for there 1st. Thai. m/c license. go and make an appointment before getting your medical cert.(med. cert. is not a lot of money, just a pain to go and get).

Morning,

for the medical certificate, there is a small clinic next to the BTS Bang Chak, 80THB to get the certificate.

Of course they don't check you at all but everybody go there before going to the Dept. of Land Transportation.

Thanks Dewey, that's worth knowing.

When I went a year ago to the DLT I didn't have to make an appointment, I just got shepherded around to different rooms, shouted at a few times and eventually did the indoor tests.
