October 14, 201510 yr If your job, company and your salary meet the requirement you will be able to apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration. There is no 8 month requirement to get it. Once you get your one year extension your family can get one as your dependents. You should not need to go out to apply for a multiple entry non-b visa which does require 8 month validity to get in Penang.
October 14, 201510 yr If you wish for your wife and child to remain in the country you should , with documentation from your employer, be applying for a one year extension of stay from immigration. Once you have an extension the family can get extensions of stay as your dependents.
