Went to Chaeng Watthana today to get an extension of stay ( retirement )

Though it is for me now the 6 th time , I still get caught by surprise with new requests, unfriendly officers and long waiting times due to non efficient processes.

Here are the ( for me at least ) new requests :

Bank book has to be updated the same day as you file the application

Copies of bank book have to be provided as well ( the updated bank book of course )

Those new requests are not new for me. Been asked to provide that for years now (was with marriage but its the same thing for the bank)

As said that requirement (same day) has been around since the move to Chiang Watanna (as most banks have an office one floor down).

Well for me it was the first time that it was requested. The 5 times before the previous day update of the bank book was ok

On a positive note - went to Pattaya Immigration yesterday for a re-entry permit. Ticket time 1.07. Exit 1.15pm.
