MarkBKK Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Couldn't find any apple sauce in Thailand. Not available ? In Bangkok, seen in Tesco, Carrefour (sp?), Tops, Villa, Foodland, Siam Paragon, Emporium, etc. Expensive and not very good (Heinz, etc.). Tried making your own? No Bramleys, but possible.

I just bought a bunch of S&W brand, which I find good, at Rimping in Chiangmai.
sabaijai Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Wrong forum branch, moved to Western Food in Thailand.

siamaloha Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Good ole American Mott's available at Villa Sukhumvit 33... not at Tops or Lotus Ratchada/Rama 3. Applesauce is a great substitute for vegetable oil in any bakiing recipe!
leisurely Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Simple enough to make your own. Produced apple sauce is very very sweet
