October 1, 200619 yr Couldn't find any apple sauce in Thailand. Not available ? In Bangkok, seen in Tesco, Carrefour (sp?), Tops, Villa, Foodland, Siam Paragon, Emporium, etc. Expensive and not very good (Heinz, etc.). Tried making your own? No Bramleys, but possible.

I just bought a bunch of S&W brand, which I find good, at Rimping in Chiangmai.

October 2, 200619 yr Good ole American Mott's available at Villa Sukhumvit 33... not at Tops or Lotus Ratchada/Rama 3. Applesauce is a great substitute for vegetable oil in any bakiing recipe!
