And therefor may be the most reliable Backup? Seagate ?? Reliable backup ?? for me they do not go together..

Had a total of 4 here, left it a few years and then got another last year, same same fail within a year.. taking it back the shop ask if I wanted Seagate again as a replacement or WD, I have WD drives going back years, ones at least 15 years old bought in the UK.. the others all bought here, only one has failed in 11 + years.

As for the USB Portable 1TB, my WD Passport is used every day and is 8 years old.... my friends Seagate failed within 14 months

​Sure there are bad batches on all things, maybe me and Seagate are just unlucky, but same problem over 11 years at different times/years, I will stick with WD thanks.
