Govt. helps 3 Thais lured to work in Malaysia

BANGKOK, 17 October 2015 (NNT) - The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has helped three Thai people who were lured to work in Malaysia and investigated if the case involved human trafficking.

Minister of Social Development and Human Security Pol.Gen.Adul Saengsingkaeo said the ministry had worked with the police, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the case of the three Thai workers.

All of them had already returned to Thailand but the ministry would keep on investigating if those who had brought them to Malaysia were in a human trafficking network, said the minster.

The minister said it would be known in a few days from now if the three Thai workers were human trafficking victims.

The ministry would do the utmost in rehabilitating them and providing protection in line with the laws, he added.

How about investigating the Thai immigration police that routinely sold them to traffickers? 3 out of thousands doesn't impress me.

How about investigation of the Thai businesses that use illegal labour from Burma ?

Malaysians must be real clever. I've found it very difficult to lure Thais into doing anything, especially working.

This will get swept under the carpet once they discover there are some high ranking officials behind it!!!! T.I.T.
