Bit of a long shot as its not the kind of country which tends to have solid fuel burning stoves in homes much.. But I want to tidy up a decent gaz BBQ I have thats been neglected outside a bit.

I have seen spray on high Temp and BBQ paint (had poor results with that on bike exhaust headers) and thats not really what I am after.. Back in the west you could buy stove blackener.. Like a polish or paste you apply, fire it up and let it smoke off, and it settles a decent layer on the cast iron..

Anything like that locally ?? Or is it a mail order again ??

I've bought Bosny spray on BBQ paint in Home Mart.

It comes in 2 varieties, I think they are 400 deg C & 1200 deg C.

I've used the hot one on my BBQ & it works just fine.
