BANGKOK: -- NATIONAL police chief Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda yesterday denied suggestions that Pol Lt-General Prawut Thavorn-siri has resigned from the police and insisted that Prawut's removal from the post of police spokesman had nothing to do with the recent lese majeste case.

"Prawut is still serving as a police officer. I have not seen his resignation letter and no search has been conducted at his house," Jakthip said.

He insisted that reshuffle in the police spokesman position happen on a regular basis and it was all about the management structure within the Royal Thai Police.

Chakthip seemed to get annoyed when asked if Prawut was on holiday and he indicated that Pol General Somyot Poompanmoung knew all the details because he was the national police chief when Prawut had made his holiday request.

He wondered why everyone was so concerned about Prawut.

I wonder if he "was" going to be included in all the ongoing LM/sedition cases, but that has now been put on hold for a while, and they'll get to him later on when things die down?

A reshuffle can you tap dance as well

Where I come from promotions are earnt not brought or favours given. No money involved

Hey mate how are your 7 sprawling penthouses going in BKK

Than the unnamed high ranking police official who started this so called rumor should be held accountable for spreading rumors. And lets here from Mr. Chaijinda himself with regards to the matter.

but he was only appointed a few weeks ago? obviously he's 'off message'

The BiB seem to be rivaling the former PTP cabinet for the amount of reshuffles.

Wonder if they play musical chairs?

Mmmm.......... the answer seems to be "get annoyed if you don't know". That is the definitive answer to everything?

I would have thought the "boss" would know about what is happening with his personnel, particularly when some concerns are raised publicly? Why not make an effort to find out!

Head in the sand attitude never achieves anything. Same same old tunes continue to be played, unfortunately coffee1.gif
