American Restaurant Week Promos in BKK till Nov. 2

Featured Replies

Found no mention of this elsewhere on the forum, so decided to start a thread on it.

The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is sponsoring their annual "American Restaurant Week" promotions this week thru Monday, Nov. 2, in conjunction with more than 25 different restaurants around Bangkok serving a variety of different, mostly western food styles.

The Embassy website has details of the promotions, including listings for each restaurant and what kind of special discounts they're offering.

Lots of familiar names there, in no particular order, including Sunrise Tacos, Tacos and Salsa, Bourbon Street, Burger Factory, Garage Burger, Great American Rib & Co., Roadhouse BBQ, Tony Roma's, New York Steakhouse, the U.S. Steakhouse, La Monita, Osito, Shuffle, Dean & DeLuca, and others.

It doesn't mention this on the Embassy website that I can see, but I believe I read elsewhere that this is the third annual event of this kind. That's news to me.

Re the various promotions, most or all of them seem to say that you need to mention "American Restaurant Week" when ordering in order to qualify for the discounted prices.
