Non-O multi- Entry Laos

Featured Replies

Got my child's birth certificate and court order showing I am the father. Want to get a multi Non-0 in Vientiane. Been told I don't need to show bank statement 400,000 with these documents. Also been told I do. Was going to go get statement today and fly Sunday night to submit Monday morning. But a friend said the statement has to show money on same day I appy. True or not? If so, how can this be done in Vientiane since you have to apply early in the morning?? How could I possibly get a bank statement that morning unless an ATM statement will work? Can I trust an ATM there to do so? I have Kasikorn bank. Or can I only get 90 days and then renew for one year with statement? Also immigration said 13,000 for the visa. Really? An under the table transaction for sure.

You will not get a multiple entry non-o visa in Vientiane. They only do single entry visas.

If you have the financial proof you can apply for a one year extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai at immigration.

If your child and their mother were to go with you when you apply for the multiple entry non-o visa you could get one in Savannakhet with no financial proof.

With financial proof you can also get the visa in Penang.
