Non-immagration Type O Visa

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a Non-Immagration type O Visa and my first 3 months are up soon. Im looking for a little bit or advice on going to the border and what i have to do. The wifes father is taking me as he always goes to the cambodian casinos. Is it as simple as crossing any border, then returning or are there only certain places you can get the visa updated. Also how much are the costs for the new visa.

Thanks

I assume you have a 1 year multiple entry non immigrant O visa. If so. You simply leave thailand by stamping out at a border check point, stamp in to another country, then turn around and stamp out of that country and then just stamp back in to thailand and you will get a new 90 day stamp. That process needs to be done every 90 days. if you go into combodia you will need to get a cambodia visa first, but if you go to poi pet you can get that at the border, cost 1000 baht. If you go into myanmar it will cost you 500 baht, no visa needed, just stamp in and out. Depending where you are from, Malaysia is free to get in.
