aland2012
Hello All I am doing my wife's application for Naturalisation as a British Citizen, she has just passed Life in the UK Test yesterday. For the application she also needs a Language Test Cert. She has got the. Trinity College London Entry Level 3 ( B1 ). She got this on 11 December 2013 for her ILR Visa. Am I right that we can use this Cert? Am I right it only Valid for 2 years which makes this 11 December 2015. Because of the new rules coming in on the 12 November 2015. My Question is that. If we send of this application I will properly expire during the application, as the application could take until 4 months, does this matter??? I will be booking an appointment at a NCS place to check and send documents around 9 November 2015. Thanking you all as always
7by7
As long as the test certificate is still valid when she submits the application, that should be fine. However, check that the test is on the new approved list rather than just the transitional one. If just on the transitional one, she needs to submit the application on or before 5th November; Thursday!
cptruff
Sorry if I'm hijacking this post. My wife has recently obtained her ILR for which she needed to pass both LitUK and B1. She will be eligible to apply for citizenship next year, am I right in understanding that no further English tests are required? As I understand it, as it stands now, she has met that criteria when obtaining her ILR. thanks!
