More rain forecast in the South

BANGKOK, 2 November 2015 (NNT) - The temperature in the North and Northeast of Thailand is expected to decline by 1-2 degrees Celsius today and tomorrow.

According to the Meteorological Department, a high pressure system from China still remains in the North and Northeast, with thundershower in the northernmost provinces. The low morning temperatures in the North and Northeast varied between 8-16 degrees Celsius, with the colder temperatures recorded on the mountaintops.

Meanwhile, around 10% of the Central Plains, including Bangkok and its vicinity, will experience rainfall today.

In the East Coast, thundershowers have been forecast mostly in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces. The majority of provinces located in the central and lower regions of the South will also experience heavy rainfall today, due to a northeasterly wind in the Gulf of Thailand.
