Does anyone know where to buy an Oil drum BBQ ?

Don't know where you are. In Isan the are all along the highways. Not oil drum but Home Pro has a cheap one for 1700 baht.

I noticed a shop yesterday as I drove past had a selection of Oil Drum BBQ's out side. It was on Prapokklao (the road that runs along the train tracks), I didn't notice the exact Soi numbers but somewhere between soi 84 and 88 on the right hand side if heading South. It was just before Hangover Bar.

I've read about making one, seems not so difficult if you can weld, or hire someone. But have read many warnings that say to be careful of the type of barrel since toxic chemicals can still be given off despite the best cleaning.

In the states they recommend a barrel used for food products, such as a honey barrel, but dont know if such a thing exists here.
