Thanks, sounds like there are several options. Just for others' info, I also found that Sky Angkor Air has a medium fare flight to Cambodia that can be refunded for $20, only $10 more than "book onward flight" and its a real ticket. They also seem to claim that if you request a refund before 23:59 the day of booking then it will be refunded without any fee. -

Clinical depression is a serious ailment that needs treatment as soon as possible. Seasonal and environmental depression can be manageable by yourself by removing yourself from the stressors, although it could mean moving away from your location, especially if you live in the northern zones where clouds, rain and snow are common place. Some need medication for symptoms to handle their depression and many go the suicide route because they didn't get the help they need. If a doctor who's competent "pushes" medication on you, it would mean he listened to you and your symptoms, and make a judgement based on them, thinking meds might help you. A doctor isn't going to tell you to take anti depressants if you didn't tell him you were having trouble. -

Prior to cutting SS and SSI benefits more objective categories of disabled need to be defined, and fraud need to be much more heavily investigated and more severely punished. Retirement age(s) need to be raised for people that are at least ten years out. -
