China, Cambodia Build Military Ties in Tense Times

Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan arrives today for a four-day visit to boost ties, at a time of rising tensions in the South China Sea between Beijing and the US over China’s increasingly aggressive stance over territorial disputes with its neighbors in the area.

China is the biggest donor of military aid to Cambodia and the biggest source of aid and loans for infrastructure and development such as schools and hospitals.

“China provides almost everything to the Cambodian military in term of buildings, training, supplying trainers and equipment,” Mao Phalla, the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces infantry spokesman told Khmer Times on the eve of the visit.

The Chinese are attempting to control any government that will allow it. They seek land, oil and food to feed their huge population. They seek to control all sea lanes and to gain hegemony over Asia. They are a clear and present danger to the World. The United States is right to confront them everywhere and anywhere. In a real war the Chinese would lose. Unfortunately, the British PM just about made the Chines Premier an honorary British citizen. A huge mistake- the Chinese believe anyone not Chinese are barbarians.
