One year extension for child

Featured Replies

Hi,

My friend have one daughter and one son in a registred marriage in Thailand. And he is the registred father of both children. Is there an age limit for how old the children can be when he apply for a 1 year extension of stay based on the child/children

  • Age 20. Unless the child is ill or disabled and cannot live without the support of the father or mother.

The child must live with the father.

If married your friend can get an extension based on marriage regardless of the childs age.

For him to apply for the extension based upon being the parent of a Thai there is no age limit.

The age limit is only for a non Thai child to get an extension.

Yes.

Joe is correct.

There is no age limit.
